To transform from a free app into a profitable business, WOOOBA introduced a Wallet feature that enabled secure transactions and user-friendly financial interactions. This pivotal addition not only streamlined payments but also secured a major B2B contract with over 200 sporting facilities, unlocking a potential $1M+ in monthly recurring revenue upon full rollout.

BACKGROUND:

WOOOBA is the go-to platform for sports enthusiasts looking to organize, discover, and join competitive pickup games for basketball, soccer, and more. By bridging the gap between casual players and structured competitions, WOOOBA fosters a vibrant community where athletes of all levels can connect, compete, and grow their skills.

PRODUCT OPPORTUNTIES

  1. Event organizers need a seamless way to collect and manage fees for renting sports facilities and hosting games, eliminating manual workarounds and inefficiencies.

  2. Introducing a Wallet feature solves this challenge while simultaneously unlocking a new revenue stream for WOOOBA, transforming the platform into a profitable business.​​

BUSINESS GOALS

  1. Generate Sustainable Revenue 
    ​​KPI: Process at least 75,000 wallet transactions within the first six months post-launch, generating an estimated $50,000 to $75,000 in revenue and establishing a scalable monetization model.

    KPI: Achieve $3,648,000 game entry fee transactions per month within the first year, driven by organizer adoption and player participation, ensuring sustained platform engagement and transaction volume.
